리뷰 작성[ South Block Barbecue & Brewing Co. ] 제가 립에 한참 빠져서 립 페스티벌도 갈 정도였는데요... 캘거리에서 립 드시고 싶다면 이 레스토랑 추천합니다! 일단 가장 큰 장점은 엄청 빨리 나온다는 거예요 캐나다 레스토랑 가면 기다리는 시간이 거의 절반인데 서비스 + 음식 나오는 속도가 짱 빨라요 맛도 최고 둘이 립 하나 시켜서 남긴 적도 있을 정도로 엄청 커요 맥주까지 한잔 하면... 완벽. 사이드로 뭐 시킬지 고민되신다면 Spicy Fries 추천! 케바케지만 대체적으로 바삭바삭 맛있답니다 ㅎㅎ * 사진에 있는 건 House Slaw인데 고기만 먹기 물릴 때 드시면 좋아요!

메인으로는 Apricot pork belly, brisket, pulled pork sandwich 주문했는데 다 맛있었어요! 사이드로는 broccoli salad, dill pickle potato salad, houseslaw 주문했는데 짜지 않고 간이 딱 좋아서 고기랑 먹기 좋았어요. 내부도 넓고 인테리어도 예뻐요. 서버도 친절했습니다. 재방문의사 있어요~!

2026년 2월 15일, 처음으로 방문했습니다. 정말 맛있었어요! 저와 제 파트너는 브리스킷을 주문했는데, 정말 부드럽고 육즙이 풍부했어요! 약간 실온에 가까운 온도였지만 그래도 정말 맛있었습니다. 제 파트너는 딜 피클 감자 샐러드를 주문했는데, 양도 푸짐하고 맛있었다고 하더군요. 저는 매콤한 감자튀김을 먹었는데, 바삭하고 풍미가 가득했습니다. 저희는 또 피클 튀김도 시도해 봤는데, 정말 오랫만에 먹어본 최고의 피클 튀김이었어요! 바삭함이 그대로 유지되고 (눅눅해지지 않고) 맛도 훌륭했습니다! 저는 '선 오브 어 피치'를, 제 파트너는 애플 사이다를 주문했는데, 두 음료 모두 환상적이었습니다!! 저희 담당 서버인 레이첼은 정말 친절하고 꼼꼼해서 최고였어요! 레이첼, 멋진 서비스 정말 감사합니다! 주방장님들도 최고였습니다! 이곳을 강력 추천합니다! 음식과 서비스 모두 10점 만점에 10점입니다.

Came to dine February 15th 2026, for the first time. Absolutely delicious! My partner and I ordered the brisket.. so tender and juicy! Was on the more room temperature side but still really good. My partner ordered the dill pickle potato salad, said it was really good and great portion size, I had the spicy fries and it they a nice crispy and lots of flavour. We also decided to try the fried pickles, probably the best I’ve had in a really long time, stayed crispy (didn’t get soggy) and flavourful! I also ordered the Son of a peach and my partner had the apple cider and Both drinks were fantastic!! Our server was super friendly and on the ball she did amazing! So thank you Rachel for the amazing job! Also shout out to the cooks! Amazing! Highly recommend this place! Food and service 10/10

사우스 블록 바비큐. 토요일 밤에 밴드 공연을 보고 싶어서 블루베리 번트 엔즈와 삼겹살을 주문했어요. 삼겹살은 질기고 별로였어요. 하지만 번트 엔즈는 정말 맛있었어요. 분위기도 좋았고, 사람도 많았고, 밴드 공연도 재밌었어요. 꼭 다시 와서 다른 음식도 먹어볼 거예요. 라이브 음악 감상하기에도 좋은 곳이에요. 마이크 맥켄지 밴드가 공연했는데, 정말 훌륭한 밴드였고, 자신들의 오리지널 곡도 연주했어요. 멋진 공연이었어요!

The South block BBQ. I want to watch a band on Saturday night I had the blueberry burnt ends and some pork belly. The pork belly was chewy and wasn't very good at all. The burnt ends were fabulous. The atmosphere is great there was lots of people and the band was fun. I would definitely return and try more of the food. This is a great spot to watch live music. THE MIKE MACKENZIE BAND. What's playing and they are an excellent band and they do have their own original music. GREAT SHOW GUYS

꼭 한번 드셔보세요! 테이크아웃을 했는데도 모든 음식이 신선하고 포장도 깔끔했어요. 음식이 정말 맛있어서 시내까지 차를 몰고 간 보람이 있었어요. 사진도 몇 장 찍었지만 훨씬 더 많이 먹어봤어요. 특히 더블 브리스킷 버거는 최고였어요.

Definitely worth the try, even us doing take out every thing was so fresh and package nicely. The food was delicious, and worth the drive into downtown to grab it, took a few photos but we tried way more. The double brisket burger was fabulous.

사우스 블록 BBQ는 주말에 라이브 음악을 즐길 수 있는 멋진 곳입니다. 저는 번트 엔드와 포크 벨리를 주문했는데, 번트 엔드는 정말 맛있었지만 포크 벨리는 질기고 별로였습니다. 마가리타는 정말 맛있었고, 엄청 바빴는데도 서비스는 훌륭했습니다. 다음에 다시 가서 다른 바비큐 메뉴도 먹어보고 싶네요.

South Block BBQ is a great spot for live music on the weekend. I had burnt ends and pork belly, the burnt ends were excellent the pork belly was chewy not very good at all. They pour a mean margarita, my service was excellent even though it was super busy. Looking forward to going back and trying more barbecue .
