  신선한 재료와 간결하면서도 신선한 레시피가 돋보입니다. 저는 식재료 본연의 맛을 살린 이곳의 요리 스타일을 특히 좋아합니다. 메뉴에는 다른 레스토랑에서는 보기 드문 질 좋은 내장 요리도 포함되어 있어, 19세기와 20세기 런던 요리의 특징을 느낄 수 있습니다. 사냥 고기 요리도 대체로 훌륭하고, 생선과 육류 요리도 만족스럽습니다. 디저트도 항상 맛있었는데, 개인적으로 마들렌은 좋아하지 않지만 함께 식사했던 사람들은 모두 맛있다고 칭찬했습니다. 하지만 음료를 제외하고 1인당 약 75달러라는 가격을 생각하면 이 정도는 예상할 수 있습니다. 특히 이 지점은 당일 예약이 가능한 경우가 많아 저녁이나 주말 점심 식사를 위해 자주 방문하고 있습니다. 세인트 존 스트리트 지점과 비교했을 때 몇 주 전에 예약해야 할 만큼 큰 차이는 없어 보입니다. 다만 테이블 간 간격이 좁고 의자가 아주 편안한 편은 아닙니다. 전반적으로 시설 관리가 잘 되어 있고 서비스는 괜찮습니다.

  Good ingredients, simple and refreshing recipes. I do prefer their style of cooking for an authentic taste from the produce. Their menu usually includes choices of good quality offals that are rarely seen in restaurants. I do appreciate such elements of c19-20 London cuisine. Game meat options are usually good. Fish and meat dishes are solid. Always loved their desserts. I don’t personally like Madeleine but people I dined with often praised them. However priced at ~75pp excl drinks this is what I would expect. For this branch in particular, same day booking often possible and I have been visiting regularly for dinner and weekend lunch. I don’t see the quality difference from their St John St branch that might justify booking weeks in advance. However, tables are very closed to each other and the chairs aren’t the most comfortable ones. Bottom line the premise is well maintained and service is okay.

  끔찍하게 실망스러웠습니다. 음식은 너무 짜거나 싱거웠습니다. 음식은 산더미처럼 쌓여 있었습니다. 가격에 비해 가격이 너무 비쌌습니다. 닭고기는 너무 질겨서 먹기가 힘들었습니다. 옆집 사람이 고기를 자르려다가 칼을 잃어버렸습니다. 서비스는 그 큰 소리를 듣고 새 칼을 주었을까요? 아니요. 불쌍한 그 사람은 버터 나이프로 계속 자를 수밖에 없었습니다. 가기 전에 최근 부정적인 리뷰를 읽었지만, 한번 가보기로 했습니다. 분명 그렇게 나쁠 리가 없겠죠! 누군가 "집에서 더 맛있게 만들 수 있었을 것 같다"고 썼는데, 처음에는 좀 심하다고 생각했습니다. 하지만 메인 코스를 먹어보니 정말 동의할 수밖에 없었습니다. 테이블 배열이 불규칙해서 어떤 테이블은 서로 멀리 떨어져 있었고, 다른 테이블들은 너무 가까이 있어서 옆 사람과 팔꿈치가 닿을 정도였습니다. 서비스는 직원이 너무 부족해서 한 층 전체를 담당하는 사람이 거의 없었습니다. 우리는 전채와 메인 요리의 일부를 가방에 넣어 집으로 가져가 달라고 요청했는데, 내용물 대부분이 없어졌습니다.

  Terrifyingly underwhelming. Food were either too salty or too bland - presented in a heap. Extremely overpriced for what you get. The poultry was so tough that it was a struggle to eat - our neighbour lost their knife trying to chop through it. Did service notice the loud clang and offer them a new one? No. The poor soul was left to continue hacking with a butter knife. I read recent negative reviews before going but decided to give the restaurant a chance. Surely it can't be that bad! Someone wrote "I could've cooked some dishes better at home" and I initially thought this was a bit harsh. But after tasting my main course, sadly I couldn't agree more. Tables were arranged erratically so some were far apart while groups of others were squashed so close together you are within elbow touching distance with neighbours. Service was incredibly understaffed with only 1 person effectively serving an entire floor. We asked for part of our starters and mains to be taken home in a bag and most of the contents were missing.

  The food was average overall, but the madeleines were outstanding. Unfortunately, the service was also average—they missed one of our main courses, which meant that after finishing one main dish, we had to wait another 30 minutes for the second one. This significantly affected the overall dining experience.

  부정적인 리뷰들이 이해가 안 가네요. 제가 짠 음식을 좋아해서 그런 건지는 모르겠지만, 저는 음식이 정말 맛있었어요. 두 번 방문했는데, 두 번 다 금요일 저녁에 두 명이 예약 없이 갔지만 다행히 야외 테이블에 앉을 수 있었고, 두 번 모두 모든 음식이 훌륭했습니다. 특히 돼지고기 장아찌와 대구알 토스트가 맛있었어요. 가격은 좀 비싼 편이고, 한 번은 음식이 나왔는데 수저가 5분 정도 안 나와서 좀 아쉬웠지만, 전반적으로 직원들은 친절했습니다.

  Not sure about the negative reviews - perhaps I like things salty but I really liked the food. Have been twice - both times as a walk-in for 2 people on a Friday night and managed to get a table (outside), and both times all of the dishes were delicious. Highlights were a pickled pork dish and some cod roe toast dish. It is quite expensive and one time they brought out our food but no cutlery for ~5 minutes, but on the whole servers are friendly.

  안타깝게도 메릴본 지점의 유명한 구운 골수 파슬리 샐러드와 토스트는 제공되지 않았고, 원래 주문했던 두 가지 요리는 품절되었지만 그래도 훌륭한 식사를 했습니다. 몽고메리 체다 치즈를 입힌 튀긴 레어빗(토끼)은 바삭하게 구운 치즈 크러스트로 덮인 크리미한 크로켓 같았습니다. 피클, 오이 피클, 콘니숑을 조금 넣어서 신맛을 좀 더하면 좋았을 텐데, 그 외에는 훌륭한 한 입이었습니다. 소 간 버섯 보리는 훌륭했습니다. 홍합 양배추 아이올리 슬로와 차가운 구운 웰시(돼지 어깨) 치커리 무도 좋았습니다. 버터스카치 소스를 곁들인 대추 빵은 정말 맛있는 디저트였습니다. 고기와 함께 마시기에 완벽한 음료로 닥터 헨더슨(페르네 브랑카, 크렘 드 민트)을 강력 추천합니다. 놀랍게도 정말 잘 어울렸습니다. 많은 요리가 품절되기 시작하니 가능하면 일찍 오세요.

  Unfortunately they didn’t serve the famous roasted bone marrow parsley salad and toast at Marylebone location plus two dishes I originally ordered that ran out, but still had a great meal. Deep fried rarebit (rabbit) coated in Montgomery cheddar cheese was like a creamy croquette covered by crispy grilled cheese crust all over. Maybe could use a small side of pickles gherkins or cornichons for some acid to cut through, otherwise was a wonderful bite. Ox liver mushrooms barley was great. Also liked mussel cabbage aioli slaw and cold roast welsh (pork shoulder) chicory radishes. Date loaf w/ butterscotch sauce to die for was great dessert. And I highly rec the Dr Henderson (Fernet Branca, Crème de Menthe) for the perfect drink to pair with meats, surprisingly worked really well. Come earlier if you can since a number of dishes do start to run out.
