  Beautiful restaurant, loved the atmosphere. Cozy booths with romantic lighting. Good cocktails, but a bit pricey for what you get. Presentation of the food was great and overall the food was solid. Lamb lollipops were delicious! Chicken was a bit dry, but overall the dish was very good. Service was also prompt and just the right amount of attention.

  Lake Effect in downtown Salt Lake City is known as a cocktail bar with a large drink selection and live music, set in a historic building with a vintage yet modern vibe. While I’m not a drinker, we went based on a friend’s recommendation for the food...and it did not disappoint. I had the Crispy Shrimp Tacos, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the avocado sauce was amazing. My wife ordered the Chicken Chopped Salad and really enjoyed it as well. It was fresh, well-balanced, and satisfying. Even if cocktails aren’t your thing, Lake Effect is worth visiting for the food, atmosphere and overall experience. A great spot with more to offer than just drinks.

  분명히 말씀드리지만, 이 리뷰는 저녁 식사 경험에 대한 것이며, 오직 저녁 식사에 대한 평가입니다. 달이 정점에 달한 후에는 여전히 이곳에 들어가는 것이 두렵습니다. 음식은 훌륭했고, 다시 먹고 싶지 않은 음식은 없었습니다. 다만 저녁 시간에는 서비스가 다소 느렸습니다. 저녁 식사 중에 조용히 대화를 나누고 싶다면 이곳은 적합하지 않습니다. 라이브 음악은 훌륭하지만, 수요일 저녁 6시에 저녁 식사를 하기에는 소리가 너무 큽니다. 하지만 퇴근 후 가볍게 한잔하기에는 괜찮은 곳입니다.

  I want to be clear - this review is for the dinner experience and the dinner experience only. I still fear entering this establishment once the moon has reached zenith. The food is great, I haven’t had anything here I wouldn’t try again. The service was slower around dinner. If you want to be able to chat, and not yell during dinner, this isn’t the place for you. While the live music is great, it’s borderline too loud for 6pm dinner on a Wednesday. However, decent place for after work drinks.

  음식은 정말 환상적이었어요. 서비스도 훌륭했고요. 친절하고 차분하고 조용했어요. 시끄러운 음악 소리 없이도 누군가와 이야기를 나눌 수 있었어요. 제가 먹은 햄버거는 정말 맛있었고, 아내는 타코를 정말 좋아했어요. 특히 디저트로 먹은 아이스크림은 정말 최고였어요. 자, 테이블 밑을 만지지 마세요. 손가락에 마른 껌이 붙을 수 있거든요. 이 글을 보시는 분들은 테이블을 깨끗이 치워주시길 바랍니다.

  The food was phenomenal. The service was great. Nice, low key, quiet. You could actually talk with somebody and have a conversation without loud music. The hamburger I had was great and the wife loved the tacos that she got, especially the ice cream for dessert, was the best tasting ever. Now just don't grab underneath the tables. Cause you will get dried gum stuck to your finger. Hope whoever is seeing this will get the tables cleaned.
