  호커 자체가 깨끗하면 편도 아니고 사람 없는 한적한 3시 반 이후에도 음식을 엄청 오래 기다렸고 Fried Kway Keow 는 내가 지금 소금을 먹고있는건지 음식을 먹고있는건지 모를정도로 짰음. The hawker itself not that clean. Even at 3:30pm with hardly anyone there, the food took long time. The Fried Kway Teow was insanely salty—I couldn’t even tell if I was eating food or just salt.

  짭짤하고 스모키한 삼발 소스가 듬뿍 발린 오징어 구이가 단연 최고였습니다. 흰쌀밥과 함께 먹으니 소스까지 싹싹 긁어먹을 정도로 맛있었어요. 캉콩 삼발은 평범했지만, 가오리 구이는 조금 실망스러웠습니다. 우선 21달러라는 가격에 비해 양이 너무 적었어요. 가오리 살이 얇고 굽는 시간도 충분하지 않았던 것 같습니다 (살이 얼마나 하얗고 깨끗한지 보세요). 게다가 삼발 소스도 넉넉하게 뿌려줬으면 좋았을 텐데요. 그리고 이 향토 음식의 핵심 재료인 칭칼록은 나오지 않아서 아쉬웠습니다. 발레스티어 마켓 호커 센터에 위치한 이 식당은 덥고 답답했습니다. 선풍기와 이동식 에어컨이 여러 대 있지만 별 도움이 되지 않았습니다.

  The succulent bbq sotong covered in the savoury and smoky sambal was our favourite. We wiped clean the plate, scraping off the gravy as it went so well with white rice. Sambal kang kong was ordinary but we were a little disappointed with the bbq stingray. First of all, we expected a bigger portion for the price of $21. The stingray was thin and not barbequed long enough (see how fair and white it is). On top of that, they could have been more generous with the sambal. Also, the quintessential element of this local dish is cincalok but they do not serve it. Located in the Balestier Market Hawker Centre, the place is hot and stuffy. The numerous fans and portable air-conditioners do not help much.

  오늘 저녁 가오리는 월요일이었는데도 정말 신선했어요. 삼발 소스는 언제나처럼 맵고 맛있었고요. 소금에 절인 계란을 입힌 새우도 먹어봤는데, 살이 쫄깃하고 단단해서 신선함을 느낄 수 있었어요. 처음 시켜본 차이포 계란은 모양은 좀 특이했지만 맛있었습니다. 보통은 직접 가져가는 방식인데 이번에는 직원이 테이블로 음식을 가져다주셨어요. 아마 세 명이서 많이 시켜서 그런 것 같아요.

  Tonight’s stingray was really fresh even though it was a Monday. Their sambal as usual as spicy and delicious. Tried the salted egg crayfish too. The meat was chunky and firm, indicating their freshness. First time ordering the Chye por egg and it looked strange but delicious also. Usually it was self collection but this time the man brought the dishes to our table. Maybe because we ordered a lot for 3 person.

  CDC 여행의 마지막 코스로, 저녁 시간에 비교적 한적한 호커 센터에서 숨겨진 맛집을 발견했습니다. 🐠 가오리는 신선하고 양도 푸짐해서 16달러짜리 메뉴도 만족스러웠습니다. 다만 삼발 소스가 향이 약하고 양도 부족했던 점은 아쉬웠습니다. 🦑 오징어(삼발 소스와 튀김)는 둘 다 정말 맛있었어요. 신선하고 씹는 식감도 좋았습니다. 칼라마리도 튀기지 않고 쫄깃해서 좋았습니다. 🥬 감자잎은 6달러짜리 메뉴에 푸짐하게 들어있고 맛도 훌륭했습니다. 친절한 사장님, 푸짐한 양, 맛있는 음식까지! 다음에 꼭 다시 방문할 거예요!

  Our final CDC treat and found this hidden gem in a rather quiet hawker centre during dinner time. 🐠 stingray was good, very fresh and huge in portion even for the $16 variant - only let down was the sambal which wasn’t fragrant nor generous enough 🦑 both squid (sambal and fried) were amazing, one of the freshest and easiest to chew on - calamari variant was good and didn’t taste super fried 🥬 potato leave was in abundance for the $6 portion, tasted amazing too Friendly owner, generous serving and good food - definitely will return!

  배달 앱으로 바비큐 음식을 주문할 때 제가 자주 찾는 곳 중 하나입니다. 삼발 가오리 요리는 정말 최고였어요. 가오리가 완벽하게 조리되어 살코기의 탄력과 촉촉함이 살아있었고, 삼발 칠리 소스는 풍미가 진하고 적당히 매콤해서 가오리와 환상의 궁합을 자랑했습니다. 삼발 페타이도 맛있었어요. 페타이가 맛있게 익어서 풍미 가득한 삼발 칠리 소스와 멸치와 함께 곁들여져 나왔습니다. 삼발 감자잎과 새우젓 치킨도 훌륭했어요. 정말 강력 추천합니다!

  One of my go-to restaurants for BBQ food on delivery apps. Sambal stingray was amazing. Stingray was cooked perfectly, retaining both the firmness and moisture of the meat. The sambal chilli was flavourful and spicy enough, pairing beautifully with the stingray. Sambal petai was also delicious. Petai was cooked nicely, mixed with shiok sambal chilli and ikan bilis. Sambal potato leaves, and prawn paste chicken were also great. Two thumbs up and highly recommended!
