  미술관 바로 근처에 위치한 일식집. 완전 정통의 분위기는 아니고 모던함을 강조한 미국식 롤/초밥집이다. 주요 메뉴는 롤과 초밥이며, 사시미, 데리야키, 라면 등도 판매한다. 확실히 초밥보다는 롤을 추천한다. 공간이 협소해서 오래 머무를 식당은 아니다. BYOB이기 때문에 술도 사와서 마실수 있다. 가격은 역시 아쉬운 부분이다.

  I have been visiting Ryo Sushi in Chicago’s Loop for almost ten years, and it has always been a reliable place for good Japanese food. Over the years the quality has stayed consistent, which is not easy for a busy downtown restaurant. The sushi is fresh and nicely prepared. The rolls are well balanced and not covered with too much sauce, so you can really taste the fish. Classic options like tuna, salmon, and yellowtail are always good. The menu also has a nice variety, so it’s easy to find something whether you want a quick lunch or a full dinner. The service has also been consistently good. The staff is friendly and efficient, even during busy lunch hours when the Loop gets crowded. The restaurant itself is simple and comfortable, which makes it a good place for a casual meal or takeout. After almost a decade of visits, Ryo Sushi continues to deliver good food and fair prices. In a neighborhood where many restaurants come and go, it’s nice to see a place that keeps the same quality year after year.

  여기서 주문한 모든 음식이 정말 맛있었어요. 애피타이저로 하루마키(스프링롤)를 먹었는데, 기름기가 적당히 있으면서도 야채 속이 들어있어 가볍고 좋았어요. 스시는 필라델피아롤(훈제 연어 대신 생연어 사용), 연어롤, 새우튀김롤을 주문했어요. 연어는 질이 아주 좋았고, 새우튀김롤은 한 조각이 너무 커서 먹기 힘들었지만 맛은 최고였어요.

  We enjoyed everything we got here. We started with the Harumaki (spring rolls) - very good, perfectly oily but still somewhat light since they have a vegetable filling. For sushi we got a Philadelphia roll (with fresh salmon instead of smoked), a salmon roll, and a shrimp tempura roll. Salmon quality was great. Shrimp tempura roll was difficult to manage with how large each piece was, but it tasted very good.

  음식도 정말 맛있고 생선도 신선했어요. 라멘은 정말 훌륭했고, 진하고 풍미 가득하면서 맛의 균형이 완벽했어요. 우리가 시킨 모든 음식이 다 맛있었어요. 벌써 몇 번이나 갔는데, 앞으로도 계속 갈 거예요 🤍

  Really good food and fresh fish. The ramen was amazing, rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Everything we tried was delicious. We’ve been there a few times already and will definitely be back again 🤍

  음식 정말 최고였어요! 스시 다섯 종류를 시켰는데, 그중 제일 맛있었던 건 방어 뱃살과 연어 뱃살이었어요. 나머지 네 가지 스시롤은 써니롤, 라이온롤, 연어러버롤, 망고 캘리포니아롤이었어요. 모든 음식이 정말 맛있었고, 사진에서 보시다시피 음식에 김을 내뿜는 작은 개구리 장식이 함께 나와서 전체적인 분위기를 한층 더 특별하게 만들어줬어요. 시카고 루프 지역에 오시게 되면 꼭 여기 가보세요!!!

  This food was super good! We ordered five types of sushi, and my favorite one from the five was the yellowtail belly and the salmon belly. The other four sushi rolla we ordered were the sunny roll, lion roll, salmon lover, and the mango California roll. Everything was super delicious and as you can see in the picture the food was served with a little frog that emitted vapor which was just an absolute fabulous touch to the whole meal. So if you're ever in the Chicago loop area go here!!!
